Roasting Varieties:

Roasting can be explained simply as "the cooking of coffee". However, it is an art of an experienced roaster that brings out the best taste in coffee. Coffee beans are "green" and hard as rocks just before they are put into the roasting unit.

Reaching temperatures of nearly 500 degrees, the beans darken as they "roast" and develop their flavor. Beans that are roasted longer tend to have a darker and stronger taste.

REGULAR ROAST
The "American" roast is the lightest roast of our coffees. This roast tends to give our coffees a smooth and creamy taste in the cup.
